We currently have an opening for a full time, fully remote, talented, and hard working Sales Engineer.
Responsibilities - What you will be doing:
- Manage the technical aspects of the sales cycle to help reach revenue targets
- Own the relationship with prospects and customers’ technical team; become their trusted advisor
- Understand prospects’ business and technical requirements and qualify if StarRocks is the right fit
- Articulate and demonstrate the technical capabilities of StarRocks and why they matter
- Conduct Proof of Concepts
- Lead qualified prospects through technical evaluation to reach technical wins
- Create and review technical content such as blogs, knowledge base and tutorial
- Support marketing events such as industry conferences, webinars, etc.
Requirements - What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer, consultant, or software engineer
- Self-driven, continuous learner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands on experience with at least one of the three major public clouds
- Hands on experience with database design and query performance tuning
- Hands on experience with Linux system and Linux scripting language
